Stanley J. Krasnow, Chairman,
Stanley J. Krasnow, Chairman,
joined IBM [NYSE: IBM] in 1966 as a systems engineer. Within 15 years he was elevated to Vice President, Planning, responsible for the business planning of a then $22 billion business in IBM products and services for the United States market. From 1992 until his retirement he held numerous positions in IBM's Worldwide Software Group, namely Vice President, Planning and CIO; Vice President of Worldwide Software Sales Operations and Technical Support; Vice President of Software Sales Operations in Asia Pacific; and Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Software Sales. Stan became a member of the Astaro Board in 2003 and was elected Chairman in 2004.
Frank Böhnke,
Frank Böhnke,
joined J.P. Morgan in 1990 and advised customers such as IBM, Bertelsmann and Siemens on numerous M&A mandates and accompanied the NASDAQ listings of technology companies like EIDOS, Iomega and Dassault Systems. In 1998 he joined Wellington Partners as a General Partner and since then, he has been responsible for several successful investments, including ACG (IPO and acquired by Asa Abloy), alando.de (acquired by eBay Inc.), webmiles (acquired by Bertelsmann), Cobion (acquired by Internet Security Systems Inc.) and SAF (IPO at Frankfurt Stock Exchange). He currently holds board seats with Astaro, Safe ID Solutions, Swyx Solutions, Euroclick Ltd and Wazap!. Frank has degrees in Business Administration from the University of Essen and the University of Toronto (1989).
Michael Triplett,
Michael Triplett,
joined Insight in 1998. Michael was an investment professional at Summit Partners, where he focused on investments in infrastructure and enterprise application software companies. Prior to joining Summit, he worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Midland Data Systems. Michael graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics, cum laude.

Masaharu Kimura, Executive Advisor for Japan,
graduated from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1970 and then proceeded to expand his horizons at IBM Japan in many areas including SE/Sales Manager, Director of Large Systems, Director of Software and Vice President of Software in IBM AP. Assigned to IBM USA twice, he first worked as a Sales Manager at the Insurance Industry New York office and then as the Executive Assistant to the IBM CEO, Louis Gerstner. He was the first president of IBCS Japan after merging PWC Consulting and the IBM Consulting Service Group in 2002. After retiring from IBM in 2006, he worked as the CEO of ACCA Networks. He is currently an Executive Advisor for SAP Japan.
