Astaro Appoints New Board Member and Chief Financial Officer

Wilmington, MA – Astaro Corporation, the leading European UTM vendor, announces that starting January 1st, 2010, Astaro has complemented its management team with Frank Nellissen, an experienced senior executive with extensive financial, operational and business management experience. Previously with a publically listed SMB Industry Holding as CFO, Frank Nellissen now takes over the position of Chief Financial Officer at Astaro.

Frank Nellissen, Chief Financial Officer at Astaro since beginning of 2010 and responsible for finance, internal IT and HR, has broad experiences in financial, operational and business management with a wide spectrum of organizations. He joined Astaro from CfC Industriebeteiligungen, where he served as Managing Director / CFO since 2007. Prior to this position, Frank held the position of CEO at Consumer Imaging specialist AgfaPhoto. Before that, he served as CFO for the Online Business of Arcor, the fixed-line broadband business of UK’s Vodafone group. In addition to Master's degrees in economics and business administration, Frank Nellissen also holds a PhD in economics.
