Astaro Boosts Green County Agency's Security
The Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities, an agency committed to serving individuals with mental and physical disabilities, had a small network with little network protection. The eight users were networked together though a wireless broadband access point with a wireless router as their only form of network protection. The router did not offer web content filtering, intrusion prevention or reporting features. The lack of advanced network security features was causing security issues at the agency.

Helix Design Develops a Secure Network with Astaro
Helix Design, a product development consultancy company, was using WatchGuard’s Firebox III appliance to secure their network. Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College Puts Faith in Astaro

City of Airdrie uses Astaro to Increase Network Security
Paul Hurst, Network Administrator for the City of Airdrie in Alberta Canada, indentified the city's biggest security concern was not knowing what was happening on the client network in real-time. The city had an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and a firewall that was able to perform traffic logging but these tools were unable to provide easily retrievable historical data after 30 days.
